What Happens here?

When you show up at a Prerelease you will be given the opportunity to play with the newest cards in the following formats:

Seeded Deck — Each player receives one Journey into Nyx Prerelease Pack to use for building a deck.

Two-Headed Giant Sealed — Each team of two players receives two Journey into Nyx Prerelease Packs to use for building their decks. (One Prerelease Pack per player; players do not need to choose the same color.)

What Do I Get?

Each Prerelease Pack contains items designed specifically for the chosen Heroic Path.

1 Forge a Godslayer activity card

For this event, players may use the promo card included with the Prerelease Pack in their tournament deck.

Each Journey into Nyx Prerelease tournament will include TWO Journey into Nyx booster packs per player!

What Else Can I Do?

In addition to the main Prerelease tournament event,we will offer open dueling.

Open Dueling — Open Dueling players each receive:1 Journey into Nyx Intro Pack

Open Dueling players use their Intro Pack to play against each other, as well as Prerelease tournament players who are between matches. All players are encouraged to help teach Open Dueling participants how to play Magic.
