Pokemon VGC - Summer Midseason Showdown

Saturday, May 5th

Registration begins at 10am

Play begins at 11am

Entry fee $15


Tournament Format:
Best of three Swiss rounds. This tournament will be played using Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Players must follow the rules in Section 1 Team Construction of the  2018 Pokémon VGC Rules, Format, and Penalty Guidelines when building their team. Players should arrive at the tournament with their team already in their chosen Battle Team box and bring a completed Official  Team Sheet. NOTE: please make sure you fill in your team sheet accurately and in the same order as shown in your Battle Team.


Tournament Schedule:
10:00 a.m. - Doors will open - proceed upstairs to check-in with event staff/judges.
10:45 a.m. - Check-in will close.
10:55 a.m. - Round 1 pairings will be posted. Before round 1 begins,  judges will come around to each table and collect team sheets.
11:00 a.m. - Round 1 estimated start time - players arriving to the  first round 10 or more minutes late will receive a loss for the round. 
Top Cut for each division will begin immediately following the last round for that division. We anticipate 3 Rounds for Juniors, 4 Rounds for Seniors and 6 Rounds for Masters (subject to attendance). 


We will not have a scheduled lunch break. 
NOTE: outside food is forbidden by the shop. If you have special  dietary needs, please email us. 


We have plushes for top finishers. Championship points will  be awarded based on attendance. 


Helpful Tips:
Bring a fully charged 3DS AND your charge cable - if you have an
external battery pack, we will allow you to use these at the table.

Update your 3DS before arriving at the tournament.
